Pickup Reminder
The Pickup Reminder program helps increase patient adherence by reminding patients when a prescription is ready to be picked up.
This program is only available when your pharmacy has IVR outbound calling activated.
Pickup Reminder Preferences
Pickup Reminder preferences are set in two places:

Adherence Preferences - default setting for all patients or select patients that are enrolled in the program.

Programs tab of the Patient Folder - enrolls a patient in the Pickup Reminder program.
Use the dropdowns below to learn more.
The Adherence Preferences sets the preference for all patients enrolled in the Pickup Reminder program. When set, an IVR outbound call is completed for patients in the program that have a prescription ready to be picked up.
To set the Pickup Reminder program preferences in Adherence Preferences:

Select
> Pharmacy. -
Select Adherence.
The Adherence Preferences window appears.

From the Pickup Reminder dropdown, select on of the following options:

None - your pharmacy is not using the Pickup Reminder program.

All Patients - all patients are automatically enrolled in the program and receive Pickup Reminder IVR outbound calls.

Selected Patients - only patients that have enrolled in the program will receive Pickup Reminder IVR outbound calls.

In the Escalation (days) field, enter the number of days after a prescription is ready to be picked up that a patient will receive a Pickup Reminder IVR outbound call.

Select OK. The Adherence Preferences window closes.

Select Save.
The Pickup Reminder preferences in the Programs tab is used to enroll or decline a patient from the program.
From the Pickup Reminder dropdown, select one of the following:

Not Asked - patient has not been asked.
If the Pickup Reminder dropdown in Adherence Preferences is set to All Patients, this patient will receive Pickup Reminder IVR outbound calls.
If the Pickup Reminder dropdown in Adherence Preferences is set to Selected Patients, this patient will not receive Pickup Reminder IVR outbound calls.

Accepted - patient is enrolled in the program and will receive Pickup Reminder IVR outbound calls.

Declined - patient is not enrolled in the program and will not receive Pickup Reminder IVR outbound calls.
